As producers, songwriters and remixers, Blaze (Kevin Hedge & Josh Milan) are amongst a handful of individuals that have managed to continually sustain a consistent flow of records that are both commercially and artistically successful. They’re able to accomplish this seemingly impossible goal because the basic ingredients always manage to stay the same…… powerful, soulful vocal performances… meaningful lyrics & melodic songs… along with deep underground house vibes all add up to the musical wizardry of Blaze.
Although Blaze have been turning out house classics for more than a decade, it’s only in the past few years that their incredible creativity has come to be fully appreciated and admired. Some of their more recent collaborations include projects with Jamiroquai, Jody Watley, Mondo Grosso and Sybil.
This album spans a period from 1993 to the present and depicts a wide spectrum of vocal styles from Kathy Brown to Tyke. It’s a collection containing several out of print releases along with 3 of Blaze’s latest works.
