Some good sides, but not the Detroit natives' strongest effort. 
Ron Banks and L. J. Reynolds divide the production chores among ped on 
promotion cause The Finer Things In Life should have made more noise. 
The title cut is a nonstop groove, spiced with some clever lyrics. 
"Jammin' To The Bells" put the P in party, a monster in New York, it did 
well wherever it received air play. 
Chuck's a biting tenor who slides effortlessly into falsetto for effect. 
Chart nester, "Day By Day" is all falsetto.
"Real Soon," grabs and holds you as Chuck sings about finding his soul mate-
REAL SOON, some tasty guitar licks are added for seasoning. 
The backing vocals are magnificent throughout, his duet with Alyson Williams 
on the romantic, "Make You Mine Tonight," gets better with time.
